DNA Test Reveals Man Swaps Sperm at Birth

Parents in Utah learned recently that the sperm used to concieve their daughter 21 years ago was actually from a person not in their family.

This new information has sparked concerns that this could have happened to more familys in the Salt Lake City area.

The DNA test links convicted felon Thomas R. Lippert to their daughter. He worked at the clinic for a total of five years. The clinic is now closed.

A recent geneology test that are widely available made the discovery that the daughter and father are not related. The couple used one of the 23andMe tests that have since been halted.

The University of Utah says all medical records have been destroyed from when they had a contract with the local clinic.
